An awareness campaign was conducted by the Railway Protection Force, Villivakkam, under the guidance of SKDT, to educate the public about dangerous and prohibited behaviors on railway tracks and trains.
The program focused on highlighting unsafe actions such as:
- Footboard travel
- Taking selfies or videos on running trains
- Crossing tracks or trespassing
- Placing objects on railway tracks
- Ignoring closed level crossing gates
- Throwing stones at trains
- Climbing onto train rooftops
- Carrying gas cylinders
- Consuming drugs
The RPF emphasized the message: “Life is Precious – Don’t Lose It on Railway Tracks.”
This initiative helped raise awareness about responsible behavior and encouraged passengers to prioritize safety at all times.
